Idaho Herding is a private herding site located in Canyon County, Idaho. The instruction offered starts with a herding instinct test, and if you choose to move forward a schedule will be set up for regular instruction periods.
There are a large variety of herding activities to work towards with your dog. Sponsoring clubs in Idaho and surrounding states include herding test/trials in both AKC (American Kennel Club), AHBA (American Herding Breed Association) and Border Collie events with sheep, cattle and ducks. Classes offered range from novice to advanced so there is something offered for everyone who wish to compete in herding. Also available are herding seminars, fun play days and instruction to promote the original purpose of the herding dog. The activity of herding is truly a team activity for both you and your dog that is both fun and rewarding, so come join us! |
